Multi-Day River Trips in Idaho

2 Day/2 Night Multi-Day River Trips

Our multi-day river trips have 2 arrival options.

After selecting “Book Now” you can pick your arrival time, either 9:45 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. In other words, are you staying the night before your first day or the night after your second day?

Both times meet at our headquarters in Lowman where you will receive your whitewater gear, get signed in and briefed on the plan. All trip options involve shuttling your vehicles down to our riverside camp which is 5 miles from our HQ. Your vehicles will be parked about 350 feet above camp. A PRC vehicle will be shuttling you around after that on any of these multi-day river trips in Idaho!

If you choose to come in at 5:00 for your multi-day river trip, you’ll follow us down to camp just in time for appetizers. The next morning, we’ll have you fed and ready for a shuttle upriver by 10:30.

If you are arriving the morning of your first day, we’ll meet at our headquarters in Lowman, After that, we’ll shuttle your vehicles down to camp, load up in our van and head upriver.

Begin your first day on the Kirkham section which is known for it’s scenery, hotsprings and most importantly the rafting. Expect to float into our private camp by 3:30-4:00. You can access your car from camp, gather your personals and settle into your tents.

Words cannot express how beautiful our beach camp is! In other words, it’s a real must see! All camping equipment is provided for multi-day rafting trips in Idaho. This allows you to relax after a great day on the river while playing bocce ball and horseshoes or trying your luck at slackline. We will have a variety of beverages to enjoy while your guides create a lovely appetizer, delicious dinner and most importantly, mouthwatering dutch oven brownies. After dinner enjoy guitars by the fire or retire to your cozy tent and let the river lull you to sleep.

Day two is a special one. Hot beverage in addition to fruit & juice will be ready at 8:00 and a whitewater worthy breakfast at 9:00. Rafts will depart off our camp’s beach onto the Canyon section at 10:00. You can expect to be back to your cars and/or back to camp around 3:30-4:00. If you’re staying your second night, well you know the gig!

My wife and I just completed our third half-day raft trip with Payette River Company and have been thoroughly pleased with each experience. The isolated yet easily accessible location make a PRC trip a great way to get away from the hassles of everyday life. I highly recommend the half-day trip for beginners wanting to “get their feet wet” (please pardon the pun) due to the combination of rapids and calmer river sections. We definitely plan to try a full day trip next time.

We had an awesome half day trip and are planning on going up again and doing the full day canyon trip. It was beautiful up there and our guide, Joe, made the trip even more fun. Ginger made booking super simple and she was great to work with! I would definitely recommend making the trip up here!
